Mrs. Corbett's music box was certainly made by Mermod Freres,
Ste Croix, Switzerland, according to the two patent numbers inside.
Both were granted to Mermod Frs in, respectively, 1885 and 1-9-1887,
so the box was made after that last date.  The letters are short for
Mermod Freres StX.

I know that music box combs can be repaired by inserting new teeth,
but I cannot tell the owner if that would be a wise decision.
