Rythmodik Ampico Rolls
By Jon Miller

Last evening I spent some time playing some Ampico rolls (on an
Ampico). Several of them were Rythmodik rolls. Each of the rolls
played had strange 'mistakes' on them, such as wrong notes, wrong
chords, etc. One roll even had holes punched which caused a rewind
in the middle of the roll (I assume a mis-punched expression hole).
There were also several instances where holes were punched where it
made no obvious sense to do so!

Was I just "lucky" to happen upon several bad rolls in a row, or are
the early Rythmodik Ampico rolls generally of such inferior quality?
