CDROM of Disklavier Piano e-Competition Files
By Ellsworth Johnson

Regarding Jim Moore's recent post [020903 MMDigest]. I would like
to call attention to MMD members that you only need a computer with a
good sound card and speakers to enjoy [the MIDI files of] this CDROM.
In my opinion it sounds really good on my computer sound system.

[ Not too many years ago, the built-in synth sound provided
[ in cheap PCs was pretty bad quality, and the difference was
[ quite noticeable when compared to the nicer piano sounds created
[ by the Sound Blaster Live audio card (using wave table synth
[ techniques) that was furnished with costlier PCs. -- Robbie
