Gap Between Tunes For A-roll Selectra Codes
By Bob Stewart

I have noticed that many of the new style 'A' rolls being re-cut are
closing up the area between songs and at the start. I recently bought
one that has less than 4 inches between tunes. As this might not be
important to most machines, it is very important if you are cutting in
[adding] Selectra coding. Please give us Selectra folks a few more
inches to work with.

[ Typical paper speed is 1.6 inches per second ("Tempo 80"), therefore
[ 4 inches gap yields 2.5 seconds gap. CD albums have 4 to 5 seconds
[ gap. Would 4 seconds gap, or 6.4 inches, be adequate? -- Robbie
