Lettering With Gold Leaf Transfer Sheets
By John Neiswinger

Hi All: Some years ago, I rebuilt a reed organ and I used Player
Piano Company's kit to duplicate the artwork logo on the fallboard.
I've reached that point on another restoration project and for the
life of me I can't remember the technique.

I remember it involved tracing the existing design onto a thin sheet
of plastic and transferring the gold leaf by rubbing through the cutout
in the plastic but I can't remember the details. I do know it did
a remarkable job and I was thrilled with the results.

Does anyone have any experience with this? What supplies do I need?

Thanks!
