Shipping a Piano Bench
By Brian Shaw

Earlier this year I shipped two dining room chairs which together
were about the size of a piano bench. The shipper boxed them much
as Craig Smith described but with foam board about 1-inch thick on
all five sides. The voids were filled with some V-shaped foam.

The chairs were shipped halfway across the country by Greyhound.
Although Greyhound doesn't guarantee a delivery date, they arrived
three days later at the local station. I was very pleased with
Greyhound's handling of the shipment.
