Administrivia: I'm Back ; Anonymous FTP Up

I'm back. Thanks to all who sent advice on things to do while I was gone.
Below is a quite an assortment of things that came in while I was gone. I've left them in chronological order although they might have been easier to read if sorted by subject. Sorry.
I'd like to encourage Peter Smakula to forward some of these music box articles from the clocks group. We've had some recent subscription cancellations because there was too little on music boxes.
