I played this instrument at the Fresno Ragtime Festival. The 'cal-
li-ope' is in very nice condition, well-voiced, and loud, of course.
It's a Tangley replica built by a Midwest firm recently. The little
trailer is cute, with a canopy, and light enough to pull with the
pedicycle if the road is smooth and level. The turbine blower is
well-muffled and electric powered, as is the pneumatic player system
which plays A-rolls. I have no further information; interested
buyers should contact the seller, "Griff".
Anyone have an idea of the market value of a 'cal-li-ope' like this?
What does a new replica cost?
