Countersunk Washers
By Terry Smythe

During refinishing of a player grand, some screws and washers went astray, and I'm having trouble finding a source of the washers. They are the screws and washers needed to affix the Lock Bar to the underside of the front half of the lid.

I've had no trouble obtaining suitable replacement brass flat head screws, but the flat brass countersunk washers seem elusive. The originals look like this:

       ___ ___
\ /
| |____________ 5/8" OD
| |________________ 1/4" ID
The only washers I seem to be able to find look this this:
       _ _
( \ / )
They ride on top of the board, rather than countersink into the board. They are not suitable.

Does anyone know of a source of a dozen of these washers?

Thanks.

Regards,

Terry
