Herewith, the latest on the Chicago '96 meeting:
As of July 5, 715 members have registered for the Chicago meeting. We know that scores of members are waiting until the traditional July/August time period to register. Unfortunately, that will be too late.
Today confirmation letters have been mailed to the first 640 registrants. This was handled by Beatrice Robertson, who has our gratitude.
The total in attendance will be about 712. There is no need to rush to get registrations in, this one is a sell out. The Hyatt has been sold out for three weeks and all the optional tours are also sold out. This will be the largest meeting of mechanical music enthusiasts ever.
Please share the word with your fellow enthusiasts: Chicago '96 is sold out!
