Dear sir,
Thank you very much for accepting me to put on the mailing list. I am a
new comer to this group and I am excited ! I have always been
interested in a 'Mechanical Music Instrument' and while I was staying
in Dallas Texas back in 1978 for several years (I work for Texas
Instruments in Japan now), I obtained a Pianocorder and later, when I
found out about the Superscope, I put it on my Yamaha upright piano.
About a month ago, I tried, without much expectation, 'yahoo' to search
for pianocorder and much to my excitement, there was a pianocorder
project home page by Mark Fontana ! This is how I ended up getting to
be listed in the mailing list. I have been away from the 'net' for
several weeks and I have not read all the mails in the past, and I
apologize for slow resonse. But I will be back soon.
Thanks and regards, Shin Ohkura

[ my system didn't know what to do with the characters. I assume
[ that they were a way to represent Japanese idiograms ?
