A church back in CT upgraded their small 1950's Austin to a Galante,
using the existing ranks, and a number of new sampled [electronic]
ranks. It really sounds great -- unlike those awful Rogers organs of the
past that Virgil Fox used to tote around. Anyway, John Rose at the
Trinity College Chapel in Hartford CT was their spokesman/ salesman at
the time (4 years ago). The console has a MIDI input, disk drive, all
the bells and whistles in it. They'd certainly be a source of info.
You'll have to call Trinity Chapel and inquire the address/phone number
of Galante, or you can contact the church's organist, Bill Kanute at
First Church of Christ, 51 Main St. Unionville, Ct 06085 ... he'd know
too.
