This would be a great idea. On other lists I read (Barbershop harmony, Reed Organ Society, Piporg-L, etc.) a fr equent technique is to "stripe" the convention badge with a particular color "highlighter" type marking pen so that all such convention-goers can identify (at least) each other. But an actual meeting at a place and time certain would be nice also.

[ I've also been to several conferences recently that had "badge
[ markers" for differrent interest groups. The trick is to get
[ the markers and a "legend" at a well visited bulletin board.
[ Sheets of peel-off sticky markers are available at office
[ supply stores. I'll see if I can find something. Please
[ look at the bulletin board (I _ASSUME_ there will be one) for
[ a posting from me.

[ about missing the orientation. Keep the suggestions coming; I'll
[ make an "announcement" here, probably on Sunday, and follow it up
