David Saul Article
By Terry Smythe

Robbie Rhodes <rrhodes@foxtail.com> sez:

I wonder if this is what David Saul referred to in the article he
published in the April 1982 issue of the AMICA Bulletin, which later
reappeared in Technicalities V, page 17. He described and
illustrated a late "A" modification that added a small sustain pedal
compensation apparatus. The purpose was to provide additional
expression control to compensate as nearly as possible, for the
differing amounts of force needed to operate piano keys with the
sustain pedal "on" or "off".

If there is what is being discussed, I could scan the article and
drawing and upload them into Jody's ftp site.

Regards,

Terry
