Happ" <happd@msn.com> + To: pwoodwor@calpoly.edu + Subject: Woodward Player Piano + + Hi Pete; + + I have a woodward cabinet grand player piano. This piano is in rough + but repairable condition. I know very little about what all the parts + of the piano are called so please excuse my ignorance on the subject. + The serial num. I believe is 32940. It has casted into the metal part + in the back that the strings are hooked to it says "new improved scale + with patent double repeating action fully warrented". On the wood bar + that all the hammers rest on is a decal that says"pattented vertical + grand french repeating action". There is also a sticker inside the + piano, The Offical Stamp of the National Association of Music + Merchants. + + Also where you put the roll to be played there is a metal tag wich + lists several pattent numbers starting with 677059 thru 1280319. I + plan to fully rebuild this piano in time but I have long way to go and + a lot of litturature to read first.Any info you can give me would be + greatly appreciated. + + Thank you + + Dan Happ + +------------------------------------------------------------------- |
