The Condon Collection

Because a few people having been asking how to get hold of the Condon Collection compact discs, I 'phoned Denis' number this morning. He wasn't there, but his friend, Robert Mitchell was. Robert tells me that the discs have not been released in the U.S. but they are being marketed in Europe by Bellephon. A 32-disc boxed set has been produced by the Lucky Dog (great name!) Co. in Thailand and also by the Denon Co. in Japan.
Only 10 of the CDs were released in Australia. Robert says he and Denis would be willing to try to get copies of these for anybody who wants them, although there have been difficulties with supply lately.
John McClelland quoted Denis' address and 'phone no. in the last MMD (Sep. 25th) and Robert says Denis doesn't mind people approaching him. I do know however, that Denis is an very busy person, with lots of musical commitments, and your letter may not be answered immediately.

Robert says that because this is an address at the University of Sydney, and the local network is heavily used by students, he often has difficulty getting onto it himself. But if you send messages to his address, they will be answered - eventually.
