Rick has discovered the mother list of "shall I buy a player piano" questions. I'm sure he'll get lots of comments on the net but since I am in Rochester (actually Pittsford) I will welcome him to contact me and perhaps I can give him a hand and some help. If he's lined up with someone who wants $7000 for a rebuilt player, he'll need it. A friend of mine just 'disposed' of 3-4 players - one had no piano action and he gave me the player for parts so I can build a new valve chest for my most recent project. So Rick, give me a call.

BTW Thanks to Jody for getting me back on the list at my other workstation at work. My proprietary PC died after 8 years just as I was converting over to a conventional PC. I can't get to the list every day but I hope to get a word in once in a while. |
