Hello Bill,
"Reuge" in Switzerland is still producing that model.
I have a Reuge movement and some Thorens disks; they run. In May I was in Sarasota (Florida) and bought a Thorens- disk in the shop of the museum "Cars and Music of Yesterday" in Sarasota. That museum belongs to a Mister Bellm. I do not know exactly, but I think, I have paid 15 US$ for that disk. May be you will get it for less money from a MMD- or MBSI-member. For the last Thorens-disk, I bought in Germany, I have paid 7 US$.
I do not know the US-market; so I can't say anything about the value of that music box. May be a few 100 US$; it depends of the condition of the box and the movement.
