Glue Again
By Larry Mayo

As to the glue question, I would side with craig. For an instrument
to sound it's best, the soundingboard should be fixed with a glue
that drys hard and brittle so that there is maximum transmission of
sound to all of the vibrating mass. No smaller stringed instruments
are repaired with soft glue. Speaking of which, is it the consensus
that the white glue Player Piano sells for gluing pneumatic cloth
is not good for that purpose? I overhauled a Baldwin 15 years ago,
and have had no problems with it since.
