Epoxied Bridge Pins

Larry Mayo wondered how to remove epoxied bridge pins. Some epoxy requires mold release on the pins. Others do not. The trick is always the same: Drill some oversized holes in a block of wood. Get some pins, stuff the holes with epoxy. Stick the pins down in the holes. Allow to dry. Twist and pull out the pin. This method never fails, Larry. Try it first. Chances are, if you start with the original pins, they will have just the right amount of dirt and oxide collected to act as mold release anyway. Then you can pull those old ones out of just about anything, redrill for new half-size up pins, and plant the new pins when you've finished. No sweat.
