Regarding Thomas Henden's Duo-Art problems, Digest 96.12.02:

It sounds like 99.9% of your problems are _piano action_ related, and not _player action_ related. If your current technician cannot address the issue of repeating notes etc., then get another technician. If the piano action is where you have spent the _least_ amount of money, then you should think about the fact that the piano action is the direct link from the player action to the actual structure of the piano itself! The player unit produces no music. Rebuild the piano action properly; that is the most important part.

Second-guessing the problems of the piano action with concerns about bleed sizes, silicone pouching techniques, etc., will only frustrate you in your restoration attempts. Rebuild it the way it left the factory. Best of luck to you.
