I also have wanted to get a copy of a patent so I have been looking on the Internet and found a web page for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In their site you can download the forms to request a copy of a patent. The cost is $3.00 by mail and on up if you would like it faster. The address is http://www.uspto.gov .
They also give a phone number for additional information: (703) 305-4350 . I have not tried doing this yet but I hope to soon. If anyone has used this method before can you let us know how it works?
