I think that -- provided you mail them by registered mail, or what is
called here "Recorded Delivery" --  you can fire off the request, get
cracking on your discs or rolls, and you're fireproof.  I've known a
number of land disputes where one party never answered.  The other party
only has to show Proofs of Receipt to the court and that's that.

I may say newspapers are the same when it comes to quoting from them.
As editor of a small journal I just take care not to quote too much and
attribute the source, and if they ever question it (which they never
have) I'd just say that's what someone in their office told me to do.

To judge from some of the flagrant things PlayRite have done in the
past, I rather get the impression piano rolls are off limits when it
comes to litigation.  The injury or loss is far too small, surely ?
