Canadian Weber Piano with Solodant

The Canadian Weber referenced above was built in Kingston, Ontario. It is very likely that this piano has an Otto Higel player action. The company was taken over by Sherlock-Manning (another Canadian manufacturer) around 1938. The marque (Weber) was discontinued by Sherlock-Manning in the 1960s.
There were several unrelated "Weber" piano companies at various times and in various places: Eisenberg, Germany; Hayes, England; Chicago; Berlin; E. Weber & Co., NYC; and the one built after 1903 by Aeolian which we all think of. The Aeolian Co. of America did not own the Weber marque in Canada.
