I'm having an awful lot of trouble with AOL, and would like to switch to
another service provider. Does anyone know the telephone number for
Errol's? I called the 800 operator without luck. Also, anyone know of a
good smaller provider in South Jersey area? Please e-mail me. Thanks.

[ Editors note:
[
[ Seth, read the ads for Internet Serivce Providers (ISP's) in your local
[ newspaper. In my local paper they are typically placed near the
[ Business or Sports sections.
[
[ AOL is facing a lawsuit that they have failed to provide service as
[ promised. I feel lucky that _my_ ISP is almost always available and
[ working properly at all hours of the day, for $20/month. That's how I
[ communicate with the Jody's "foxtail" computer. Jody lives 90 miles
[ from me; the back-up method is an expensive telephone call which
[ connects my computer directly to foxtail.
[
[ Nonetheless, upon hearing of the problems which AOL and many other
[ ISP's are having with "flat-rate service", I am now willing to return
[ to "metered service" and pay a fee for each minute that I'm connected.
[
[ I believe that an ISP charging by the minute will provide service as
[ promised in a professional manner, and the children monopolizing the
[ telephone and Internet circuits with their Web Browser toys will
[ quickly disappear when the bill comes!
