Re: MMD Name Is Too Long!

I wish to express my opinion about the length of the name. I use Netscape Navigator v2.02 on the Macintosh; it performs a fairly good e-mail management; nevertheless, when I save e-mail, the program unexpectedly truncates the name at the last character fitting the name window, i.e., in this case, the 30th... :-]
That's why I agree with Robert DeLand. After downloading I change the name this way: "MMD yy.mm.dd"; I think this could be a reasonable way to shorten the name. After all, although we are submerged by abbreviations, everyone of us knows "MMD...." daily e-mail is this wonderful Digest. The extended name might be left on web pages, so that searching engines "catch" it.
As regards Mime 1.0 request by Robbie, I read somewhere that Netscape Navigator fully supports MIME protocol. I think in Netscape site (http://www.netscape.com, obviously) you'll find explanations. (I'm not a Netscape agent; just I find that program useful ;-)
