MMD Categories

With regard to my suggestion for an item indexing "music theory" I will have to confess to not having reviewed the past issues of MMD prior to September 1996. Perhaps it is not needed.
If a scheme is adopted along the lines of Jan Kijlstra's suggestions, it would be a sub-item that could be added at any time to a primary category should it seem desirable to do so by those doing the indexing. My thought was one of those late night ideas that may not have been a good one. Thanks for the comments.

[ Jody and Bob Fitterman are also discussing a method of searching
[ the actual Digests for user-supplied keywords. The would be perhaps
[ slower than the index method, but it would allow searching for the
[ less common topics such as music theory. So your late-night idea
