Great site!

As a college student in 1969 it was my pleasure to see, hear and feel a Wurlitzer Military Band Organ close up. It was at a small theme park in Salamanca, NY. That sound is still in my head 'til this day. It honked, whistled, clanked and banged itself into my head and my heart forever. I can still hum the tune it played.

At that time, I was finishing my degree in trumpet at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and was playing shows at the park. The park was called Fentier Village and the instrument was on loan from a nearby owner.

Please, where can I find CD recordings of these magnificent instruments. Where can I hear one near here? Thank you so much for continuing to keep these instruments and their music alive.

Best wishes,

Rick Caldwell
