I'm sure Phil Benson and our other English friends could tell you more,
but here goes: The Fair Organ Preservation Society was founded in England
in 1957. The purpose of the group is in it's name. The Society holds
organ rallies and events in the UK. (and occasionally elsewhere) and
each quarter publishes THE KEY FRAME, a magazine devoted to automatic
organs. Each year, a guide to events and museums relating to automatic
organs is printed as well as a colorful calendar.
The Society has an archives which welcomes any materials relating to
fairground organs. If you like any type of automatic organ, you must
join the F.O.P.S. Australian and U.S. members may pay their dues in
local currency (US $24.00 per year, the magazine sent via airmail).
