Well it looks like a few people liked the idea. Here is an "ascii-graph" of the results so far.

It will take a bit more time to come up with a utility to plot everyone's location. However I will do that as I have time.
I also received a few good suggestions:
- Specify your month and year of birth rather than your age.
This will make it easier to keep the data accurate over time,
as new subscribers are added.
- For fun, you can include a guess of the group's average age.
For those who want to participate, send a mail message like the following to davem@vcd.hp.com:
11/61 (month and year of birth)
Camas, WA 98607 (City)
Guess: 48.2 (Your guess for the average)
Don't worry about the exact syntax, I read every message "by hand".
