Pianola Spring-Motor

I'm just curious as to how many of these where made, as I have only seen the one (Melville Clark) and I have it here out of a stripped piano. You can view it if you like at:

My question is just out of interest on how many may have been produced and if they're common or rare. They are certainly a well-engineered motor and governor.
I wonder if it would have enough grunt to run an Ampico (interesting train of thought).
