I also need a Midi Primer as Brian Chesters suggests.  I am using a Mac
LC III at home and a IBM 100 MHz Pentium at work. I have never successful
played a Midi file. I also have trouble with web page audio clips.  Some
will play and some won't.

If someone does not write on this subject can you at least suggest a very
elementary book on the subject?
