Floods in the Workshop
By Gordon Forcier

I don't know if many of you folks ever encounter a problem with mini floods, but I have a little battle going on right now as the weather gets warmer. I have 4 units in my garage and cannot afford to let them get wet: a Limonaire, a Monster, a Reed Organ and a Player Piano. Plus a whole lot of manufacturing equipment for making roll frames and Wurlitzer unit valves.

I am keeping ahead of the waters by pumping out the water. Apparently when the garage was built before I bought this property, the men that built it and poured the floor must've had a kegger, because the slope outside the overhead door isn't sloped very much either.

I will win this battle for I don't want to redo the things which I already have done. Has anyone else ever encounter similar mini or maxi disasters?

Gordy
