Welte mechanism wanted:

I am looking for a complete Welte mechanism for my upright Steinway-Welte
reproducing piano. This reproducing piano was build about 1917 (serial
number: 182579) and was original probably equipped with a so called
"Red-Welte". Unfortunately someone removed the Welte mechanism out of
this piano more than thirty years ago, since when this piano is in my
family.  If you are in the possession of such a mechanism and you want
to sell it, or if you know someone who does, please contact me at my
