In response to the question about mechanical compositions: There were
6 compositions made in that fashion by Toch, Hindemith, and Muench,
recorded on Welte Mignon, catalog numbers 4103-09.  They were recorded in
Germany in 1926, on the Green system.  The rolls were never released in
America.  I have a recut of 4106, but have not seen any of the others.
