Midi Files at Web Site
By Andy Taylor

Well I've finally figured out how to put up a web page. It's not
complete by far, but it is a start. I used aol personal publisher.
The prompt is

    http://members.aol.com/tempola/index.html

Could someone please explain to me in layman's terms how to put one of my
Midi files (arrangements) so it will play when the page is pulled up???

 [ Editor's note:
 [
[ Andy, The first page looks great. Thanks for the "plug" of MMD!
 [
 [ Now, for your questions.
 [
[ 1) Normal pages must end with ".html" or ".htm". Your second page
[ is named "index.html2", which does not work. Try "index2.html"
 [ instead
 [
[ 2) MIDI files are recognized by the suffix ".mid" so try something
 [ like:
 [
[ Try listening to my <A HREF="favorite.mid"> favorite MIDI file.</A>
 [
[ I'm glad you're having good luck with this.
 [
 [ Jody
