Correction to "Lilli Marlene"
By Claus Kucher

In 970712 MMDigest Robbie translated the article from German to English:

> ... Five years ago Schultze canceled the celebration of his 80th
> birthday because of a golf match -- this time it should be different!

Sorry Robbie, this was the not a stroll -- instead the "Gulf War" happened
as revenge when Iraq occupied Kuwait. I am not sure, but that should have
taken place in April/May 1991. And there was another "Gulf War" before,
I think, during more than five years between Iraq and Iran (Persia) after
the emperor 'Schah' (= Cesar) Reza Pahlevi (who was before the son of a
donkey-driver) was overthrown by Islamic revolution guided by Ayatollah
Khomeini.

But anyway, it is not clear why Norbert Schultze was claiming that reason
of not celebrating his 80th birthday.

[ (:^| (I'm embarrassed!) Thanks for correcting my mistake, Claus.
[ I erred by assuming that "Golfkrieges" means "golf war" instead of
[ "Gulf War". ... The game of golf shouldn't be a war, should it?!
