FS: Lester Piano
By Jackalyn Tarantella, forwarded by Greg Flannagan

Thought I would post this here. Maybe someone is interested in a Lester
Player, located in Montgomery County (Phila), Pennsylvania. She is
asking $1450.

I sent your questions to my sister who gave them to my mother. Here is
her reply:

Yes, it can hold a tune. The case been refinished? No. She polishes it
with lemon oil only. (She was very adamant about this, I remember.)
It's in A-1 condition, plays manually or electric.

It's complete and this is no cheap piano. If I remember correctly, she
got it from a friend who is a piano enthusiast like you. He had an
upright player like mom's, and an organ in his living room and loved to
show them off. He rebuilds old clocks too.

Just needs tuned which has to be done every time you transport it. I've
attached a photo I scanned. Hope it's not too big a file. Let me know if
it doesn't work.

[ Jody says that the picture shows a nice-looking upright with
[ the doors closed over the spoolbox. He will place the image
[ at the MMD web site if anyone is interested. Send a note to
