Hofbauer Barrel Organ

A customer of ours has a 20-note Hofbauer Barrel Organ which was supplied
in a kit form and assembled here in Melbourne in 1983.  She would like
some further information about this instrument and some idea of a general
history of Barrel Organs.  Can someone help with this please?  Thank-you
