Can anyone tell me more about the 'Heller' coin?  I have a Symphonion
upright disk music box with an engraved brass plate by the coin slot
which reads "Einwurf 2 Heller".

What country of origin and approximate value circa 1900 would this
represent?  Thanks!

 [ Hmmm.  My dictionaries give only hints.  It seems that the Heller
 [ (also Haler) was a coin of face-value one penny (1 Pfennig), possibly
 [ also minted later in the Soviet Union.  The name survives in the German
 [ expressions for "down to the last penny" and "it's not worth a red
 [ cent."  Can our coin-collecting and German members help?  -- Robbie
