Bowers' Encyclopedia & 'Barrel Organ' Book
By Marty Roenigk

Mike Knudsen was asking about the reprint of Bowers' Encyclopedia of
Automatic Musical Instruments. This is supposed to be an exact reprint,
with no additions, deletions or corrections. It is hardback. There is
no good reason to get another copy if you already have one except that
this edition, like I think the immediately previous edition, is supposed
to have better quality paper and thus better photo reproduction than some
of the earlier printings -- very helpful if you are trying to identify or
copy parts of a machine.

As to 'Barrel Organ', the excellent book by Arthur Ord-Hume which is been
out of print for a number of years, we do have these on hand (rather, we
have a handful, I think there are six left). 10 or 15 years ago we
bought what I think was the remaining U.S. stock of these, about 200-300
copies, but we are down to tag ends. We sell these for $75 plus $8
packing and shipping. While they last.
