Thanks for the help on dies, the info on split dies inspired me to split
a 4-40 nut and squeeze it smaller.  This worked to clean the corrosion
enough for threading leather nuts back on.  Perhaps not as cleanly as a
die, but for 5 cents, I'm ahead of the game.
