Hi Hauke -- Yes, I will put my Fact Sheet format on the MMD.  It will
be sometime this week, I hope.  I try not to keep MMD folk waiting too
long.

The Fact Sheets are a derivation of information cards that are present
with most instruments at the Sanfilippo collection outside of Chicago.
I use the sheets for my own learning and education about my music
boxes, for insurance coverage documentation, for appraisal document-
ation, and for sharing with others.

I generally use 2-3 references with each sheet, and I list the pages
and the references at the end of each sheet.  If there is a lot of info
about a music box, then I include only highly relevant info on the fact
sheet, and photocopy relevant pages to go with it.  I hope this
overview will hold you for awhile.
