I have heard some pretty realistic chicken sounds from some electronic
toys in my grandson's toy box...perhaps you could 'lift' one from a toy
to be activated when your vending machine is operated.

Alternatively, you could record one of them and put them on an endless
playback tape, such as those used in telephone answering machines, for
use on your gadget.
