Duo-Art Theme vs. Accompaniment
By Ed Gloeggler

Okay, guys. I do stand corrected. I've long confused the Theme and
Accompaniment in the Duo-Art. On the foot impelled machine, it is the
Accompaniment expression that is regulated automatically. The Theme,
which is that part of the tune which is meant to stand out above the
rest, gets full suction from the foot pump and, it is controlled
directly via foot-power.

The same is true for the "Combination Foot Impelled and Electric
Duo-Art" piano. When foot powered, the Theme accordions are bypassed,
permitting full suction to the Theme notes.

Hope my mix-up didn't add too much confusion to such a simple, easy-to-
describe and understand machine. :)

[ Thanks to all for the discussion. It's been very informative.
