Dear Jody:  How many subscribers does the MMD have?  I have a proposal
to make about trying advertising on the site, but what I propose needs
to be a function of the "audience" size.

 [ I have evidence that several people read the Digest regularly via
 [ the MMD Website.  I'm working on technology to try to figure out
 [ which visitors are subscribers, which are real non-subscribers, and
 [ which are search engine robots.
