In the latest issue of Fine Woodworking magazine (April, 1998) there is
an excellent article, entitled "Sticking With Hide Glue", about the use
of hot animal hide glue.  It points out the advantages this glue has
over modern glues, which many of us already knew, but it is worth
reading just the same.
