Fiber Discs for Valve Seats

Several times I have had such runs made by the same company who make
the stock for OSI and Player Piano Co. The only drawback is they make
no less than 10,000 at a time.

If it is a disk that can be used in several instruments it would be
worth ordering a run as it only costs a few hundred dollars. The last
set I had done was the top valve seats for Simplex valve pneumatics.
Send me a sample and tell me if it is usable in other places for other
things, or I will look to see if I can find other uses for it.

To have such items made I send a sample of the original for measure-
ments and fiberboard to use. They are able to duplicate anything, but
only 10,000 or more at a time. By the way, Player Piano Co. makes a
several thousand percent markup on these disks. If the inside is
threaded, you will have to do that yourself, I suspect.
