Rolmonica and Playasax
By Marty Roenigk

D.L. Bullock inquired about the value of these instruments. A Rolmonica,
with say six rolls, in good original condition, will sell in the $90-125
range at retail, but slowly. These were made in large numbers during the
1920's and 30's. The Play-A-Sax is quite a bit scarcer and ought to sell
for around $125-150 and a little easier with rolls. The problem here is
that a lot of them have expanded and cracked pot metal around the crank
area, and this severely depreciates their value.

Rolls might be available from Ed Schmidt, Bethesda, MD. 301-530-3203.
