FS: 31 KL Pell Organ
By Chris Doe

Greetings All. I have been asked to help find a buyer for a wonderful
31kl Pell Organ, which was built to order in 1993 by Alan Pell of the
U.K. The organ operates from perforated paper rolls on the Raffin 31kl
scale, and there is plenty of this scale music available from many
music arrangers in Europe.

There are 4 registers on the organ, Two ranks of Bourdons, Celeste
Bourdons, Violin, Piccolo; there are 84 pipes in total. It has 30
rolls of music, each normally at about GBP70 a roll.

The case is black and well painted with English country flowers.

The organ has a beautiful mellow tone, I can speak first hand about
this as I have had the pleasure of turning a roll of music through it,
it is probably the most easily turned 31kl I have had the pleasure of
playing. Sadly they have to part with it due to a lack of storage
space.

New this organ would be worth about GBP8,500 but they are willing to
consider any sensible offer.

Technical details are as follows:

  Standard 31kl roll scale
  Melody:
    Register 1 Bourdons
    Register 2 Celeste Bourdons
    Register 3 Violins
    Register 4 Piccolos
  Accompaniment: Stopped Pipes
  Bass: 2 ranks Stopped Pipes
Wind supplied by twin double acting bellows.

If you are interested please mail me. (Please note I am only doing
this for a friend, I am receiving no money for this at all.)
